Responsibilities:

• Install steam boilers to high standards
• Install water heaters and oil tanks as part of new installations
• Perform annual maintenance on steam boilers
• Install steam pipe insulation
• Install steam radiators
• Service & repair existing steam systems
• This job includes extensive local travel throughout RI, eastern MA, & eastern CT, which is fully paid.
• Occasional hotel stays are also required, also fully paid.

5 to 15 hours over-time most weeks, including summers, if desired.
Most weekends off, but occasional Saturdays in winter.

No emergency on-call shifts. Regular M-F + OT only

Qualified candidates will be experienced in:

1. Pipefitting/steam fitting

2. Steam boiler installations

3. Steam boiler troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance

4. Steam system types and properties

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years uninterrupted work in the heating industry
Licensed by RI, MA or both for oil or gas, or both
Clean record, both criminal & driving
